Event Photography
When planning an event, there are a multitude of mundane details to sift through in bringing it all together. Let us help eliminate stress in the process by making the photography piece exciting and full of creative collaboration.
We’ll work with you to realize your vision of imagery for the day, and then seamlessly capture the magic as the event unfolds. We'll honor the intent and purpose you are working to convey by working alongside you to imagine the day.
We'll meet with you via phone, Skype, or in person at your home or favorite local spot to discuss all the details of your upcoming event and photographic needs -- the when, the where, the desired key elements of the images.
Based on the nature of your event, we'll be happy to schedule additional meetings or calls with you, including at the upcoming location to talk through details and areas of concern.
Together, we'll map the event from start to finish, highlighting the must-haves and your most sought after shots.
We do offer photographic coverage in multiple locations and at different times based on your needs. For instance, a recurring event on a certain day of the week for four weeks. We can work with you to ensure that the logistics are in place to provide great coverage.
We take the time to get to know you and your needs, creating a report that makes working together feel easy.

It's the day we've been planning for! Your photographer will arrive 15-30 minutes before the agreed-upon time for set-up purposes. We'll be looking for you or another designated person to check in with.
If your event is a large gathering, such as a fundraiser, gallery exhibition, or book reading, we'll coordinate with a designed "point person" as needed.

Event Photography Pricing
We have an intentional focus on making photography affordable and accessible to everyone, regardless of finances. We offer subsidized rates to nonprofit organizations and financial assistance to BIPOC and LGBTQ+ Richmond community members.
We offer payment plans to break up your total amount due into three easy payments, the last of which is required before delivery of the images.
We offer special rates for recurring events based on the nature of the coverage need.
Our standard hourly event rate is $300 for the first hour and $200 for every hour following at the event.
There is never a charge for initial or follow-up strategizing meetings.
